Is XP beginning to die?

Yes XP and IE6 are starting to die and I couldn't be happier. Personally, I absolutely loathe working with XP ever since my switch to vista and then to windows 7. Microsoft announced that they are no longer working on improvements for XP and therefore it is out of date. Books are forgetting about the familiar XP interface and moving to new things.
