Are the airlines creating a security risk by charging for bags?

I'd say the increased security risk is caused by pissing off pengers more and more each month by charging more for everything. They already had set limits on carry-on luggage, so that won't affect much. People finding out at the check-in counter that each bag, all drinks, blankets, headphones, and every other little detail of flying now costs extra could cause somebody to explode soon, though...
