"Give a man a inch...and he will take a mile"........agree or disagree.......?

Case in point...Last night I get home from work and the ol man had grilled a yummy London Broil...made mash potatoes with cheese...and green beans....I thanked him and said "I owe you"....well he took this to mean y time...and quite frankly I was to tired....so now he is all pissy cause he didn't get any.....WTH...
