What to put on angus beef steak?

I have some angus beef skillet steaks I was going to fry. I was wondering what I could use to give it some flavor? I was thinking garlic, pepper, and salt but didn't know if that was too plain. Also, I was going to cover the steak with grilled onions. Any suggestions?
