Will Americans have job freedom now if insurance is not tied to employment?

...like the citizens of that oppressive, communist, Third-World nation, known as Australia where the citizens pay 90% of their income in taxes and have no freedom (sarcasm, sarcasm) ----seriously, in Australia you can be a freelance translator, teach a course or two on the side, sell your own artwork and not have to worry about where the benefits are coming from or if you will go bankrupt over medical emergencies ------it's actually very capitalistic and individualistic as you can pursure your own career path if you have a pre-existing condition, unlike what we had until now where you relied on an employer and a large pool to get the affordable insurance. I like being able to do jobs that I like, instead of being a corporate drone. I think being able to work for oneself and have job mobility is a great thing, truly in line wih the real American spirit ----striking out on your own and forging your own path. I love having no more "job lock," like the free citizens of Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland.
