Ok ladies, would you break up a 6 year relationship because an ex started texting?

I am looking for honesty here. I have never cheated on a girl in my entire life nor would I. However an ex of mine whom I thought was dead (I know it seems like a script from days of our lives) has recently started texting and calling me after two years of silence. No joke she was in a bad car accident and was in a coma. This however extends to even co-workers or mutual friends. It boggles my mind because I have never shown anything but faithfulness to her, and I love her. Is there another reason and is she just using this for an excuse? Would it bother other ladies?
