Is this speech good so far?

Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, our ancestors brought forth a new world. A world of freedom, a world of prosperity, a world where every man and woman is just as significant as the next. They have seen loved ones die and loved ones born. They have shown courage and determination like no one before them. Through disease and health, through joy and suffering, they have nurtured this land and have left it in our hour hands. One and a half centuries have ped since our families landed here. Under the oppression of Great Britain our people have said little of their true feelings. We have become self sufficient beyond what they may think. Too many times have they taxed us with little reason. Too many times have they mocked our efforts. Too many times have they spoken down to us and for too long have we looked up to them. Can you not see what we are to them? Through their eyes we are peasants that will do anything they wish. I will not be treated this way any longer and neither will you. We have cowered in their shadow. While our ancestors brought this land upon us they were weak. They were cowardice, afraid to fight, scared of change, but we, we are strong! We will tolerate this injustice no longer. We will not be buried alive under a tyrants rule. Tell me, who of you will quiver under Great Britain any longer? Who of you will quake at the sight of a red coat? We will not be intimidated. We will rebel, we will die and we will live. Most importantly we will fight in this war of revolution for what is ours and drive the British off our land until independence. I say unto you, all those able to fight, bear arms and fight for this new nation, your new nation, our new nation, the United States of America.
