How do you take care of succulants/shrubs?

I found a succulant like 2 years ago and it was only maybe 4 inches tall, and now after a lot of growing, it is huge! But it's starting to like dry up and I've been watering it but, it's still dying! I have other types of succulants (not as big) and they are doing just fine.
