What is the Roman numeral for zero?

There is none. I can't remember who off the top of my head but I think it might have been the Ottoman's that invented the number 0. I took a cl called modern world history since 1400. This was briefly mentioned, which is why I can't remember which empire came up with 0. But they did it to ease universal math, Roman Numerals are complex and long.
